Desire without intention is about attachment to outcomes and symbols. The Law of Detachment emphasizes that in order to acquire anything in this life we must first let go of our attachment to it, to become non-judgmental about everything.

Fear feeds our mistaken belief that we have control over outcomes. Fear , as usual, is a liar.  So, if attachment is the result of fear, what is the source of detachment ? It flows from that small still voice inside and from the knowledge of who we REALLY are. It is our purpose to detach from worry and fear, leap into the unknown, and enjoy the ride. We’re on a journey that has no destination.

Think of a bar of wet soap as the object of your desire. Now, in your mind, try grasping the soap. It seems to have a life of its own doesn’t it? It slips out of your grasp, wiggles away from you when you try to hold onto it. When you attempt to grasp things tightly, they elude you. The energy that attracts things to you becomes blocked. Releasing your hold allows the Universe to support you in all that you desire.

What on earth does this all have to do with marketing?!! Simply put, it’s important to create an attraction marketing plan that reflects in detail your design for your Perfect clients and customers as well as how you will attract them to you and what you do best. Do your plans in great detail and then release them. And instead of holding on for fear of failing, let go and move on with your work, taking actions that bring you closer to your desired results. Each day, envision your desires to the point of emotion, knowing that the Universe has already created them and all you need to do is wait and notice.
